BJP warns Kangana Ranaut: The BJP, while distancing itself from the statement of BJP’s Lok Sabha MP from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, Kangana Ranaut on the farmers’ protest, also strongly reprimanded her. The BJP clarified its position on Monday (August 26) on the statement of the Bollywood actress and said that the party disagrees with Kangana Ranaut’s statement.
While clearing its stand, BJP said that the party has not given her permission to speak on policy issues nor is she authorized to do so. Along with this, BJP also gave a stern warning to Kangana Ranaut and advised her not to make any such statement in future. On the other hand, Samyukta Kisan Morcha called Kangana’s statement insulting.
Why did BJP distance itself from Kangana’s statement?
In fact, during the Lok Sabha elections also, similar boastful statements were made by BJP leaders, due to which the party had to bear the brunt. During that time, statements like Constitution is in danger, killing democracy and ending reservation caused damage to BJP. In such a situation, BJP’s step against Kangana Ranaut is not a single action, this one action has many meanings and messages.

Since assembly elections have been announced in Jammu-Kashmir and Haryana and elections are to be held in Maharashtra, Jharkhand. Also, there are by-elections in Uttar Pradesh, therefore BJP does not want to make any mistake. The party wants to avoid mistakes, boastfulness and absurd statements, so that the opposition does not get a chance to corner it and set a wrong narrative.

What did BJP say to Kangana Ranaut?
On the instructions of the party high command, the BJP’s central media department issued the party’s official stand on Kangana Ranaut’s controversial statement, saying, BJP MP Kangana Ranaut’s statement in the context of the farmers’ movement is not the party’s opinion. The Bharatiya Janata Party expresses disagreement with Kangana Ranaut’s statement. On behalf of the party, Kangana Ranaut is neither allowed nor authorized to make statements on party policy issues.
The statement further said that Kangana Ranaut has been directed by the party not to make any such statements in future. The Bharatiya Janata Party is determined to follow the principles of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas’ and social harmony.
